Today it's the 22th of April, that means that it's Earth Day!
Earth Day is the day, that everybody is a little more concerned about the world.
I'll give you a few tips about saving the world!
Let's start with watch your water consumption. While you're brushing your teeth, turn the tap off. Also when you're shaving your legs and stuff under the shower. These little things can make a huge difference!
Recycle your plastic, glass and paper. It's takes only a little effort, but it's worth it!
Also throw your garbage in the trash. It's so easy and there are so many bins everywhere, they are there for a reason!
I also recommend you to reuse. You can use two sides of a piece of paper. You can also repair you clothes and stuff if they are broken.
Another good tip: Invest in a water bottle. If you keep buying plastic bottles, that's not good for the environment. So I bought a water bobble (that's not a mistake). A water bobble is a water bottle with a filter in it. It bought the red one on http://www.waterbobble.nl/
You can also plant a tree. You can plant a tree in your backyard, but if you don't have a backyard, or it's to small, you can also plant a tree at http://www.tree-nation.com/
Trees are important, but you don't forget the animals! You can pay more attention to your pet or go to the asylum and give a little love to those animals!
Or you can adopt a chicken. I don't know if they have that in every country, but the dutch readers can adopt it anyway. If you adopt a chicken, you can see your own chicken through a webcam. And you can also receive eggs from your chicken, how great is that? Let's adopt!
Last but not least walk more or ride a bike (or a skateboard). It's much better for our planet, but it's also a nice workout! And while your walking or cycling (or skating) you'll see much more.

You will all know this tip, but turn your tv/computer/laptop off if you're not using it! And turn of the lights when you're leaving your room/kitchen/etc.
Last but not least walk more or ride a bike (or a skateboard). It's much better for our planet, but it's also a nice workout! And while your walking or cycling (or skating) you'll see much more.
Of course we should be saving the world everyday, but I think a special day will help people think about it again! And it's also a good start, isn't it?
